Meet Maggie

Meet Maggie

Maggie's artistic background is less of a professional one and more of a personal one. She grew up in Kentucky, where she shared her love of art with her father, who was a painter, printmaker, and creative director. He always encouraged her to stop and really take the time to look at things closely- to truly see, understand, and appreciate life. Following his passing in 2018, Maggie started painting daily as a therapeutic way to remember her father and to carry on his legacy as an artist. Maggie draws inspiration from the quiet everyday moments, spending time in nature and exploring new places. Her favorite quote is by Maya Angelou: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." It is Maggie's hope that she, through her life and art, can make people feel better.
