Job Description

This full-time position offers an incredible opportunity for a self-motivated, passionate, and detail-oriented individual to lead interior design projects and to grow alongside an established and collaborate company with big goals. Applicants must be highly proficient in design software, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design services for our Charlotte, NC design showroom & e-design clients nationwide
  • Correspond with customers to generate scope of work, manage expectations regarding timeline and budget
  • Independently create full design concepts for client presentations, selecting furnishings, fabrics, accessories, paint, etc for projects
  • Prepare and produce mood boards, CAD drawings and floor plans
  • Project management including managing budgets, selection based on stock, price, etc
  • Help to create new process-driven systems to contribute to success of the company and expansion of the department
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in interior design, design school or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of residential design experience 
  • Proficient in AutoCad and Sketchup - ability to develop floor plans and elevations 
  • Proficient in Adobe Software - rendering skills is a plus
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative to problem solve when needed 
  • Incredible communication and interpersonal skills with vendors & clients
  • Ability to support multiple projects at once and pivot quickly 
  • Takes direction well and understands that behavior and attitude are just as important as the talent brought to the team
  • Positive attitude and self-starter
Location

This position will be based at Society Social Charlotte in Atherton Mill.

Job Description

This part-time position offers an incredible opportunity for a vibrant and business-minded individual to work alongside our Charlotte based sales & buying teams. As the first point of contact with our customers, applicants must act as proud brand ambassadors, have strong communication skills, and enjoy enhancing customer experiences and forming relationships within the local community. This position reports to the Head Buyer and Assistant Buyer.

Responsibilities
  • Create a seamless and frictionless customer experience and bring a collaborative, kind, and fun energy to the sales floor
  • Offer information to the customer on our merchandise and execute operational processes effectively and efficiently
  • Support the sales floor, check out and back of house processes including, but not limited to: Unboxing, tagging and merchandising product on the sales floor, maintaining an accurate inventory count, and alerting the buying team when merchandise is running low
  • Provide assistance with Instagram Stories as needed

Requirements
  • Previous retail experience is a plus
  • Computer, technology, and social media savvy
