Society Social is a digitally native, design driven lifestyle brand with a new school approach in an old school business. Founded by Roxy Owens in 2011, we thoughtfully design and expertly curate an edited mix of furniture and home decor for the decorating enthusiast and modern traditionalist. Proudly female founded, female led, and minority owned. About the Role

Society Social & 3 forthcoming sister brands are seeking a Marketing & Creative Assistant to support our growing family of businesses. This person will provide hands-on support across marketing, e-commerce, social media, and special projects, helping to bring our colorful, story-driven world to life across every channel.

Working directly with the Founder, Marketing Director, Marketing Manager, and Director of Partnerships, this role will assist in day-to-day marketing operations, creative production, and event activations, from supporting product launches and photoshoots to coordinating pop-ups, collaborations, and special events.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is passionate about interiors, brand building, storytelling, and design.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Brand Support

  • Support ongoing marketing campaigns, product launches, and facilitate communication across all brands.
  • Assist in planning timelines, tracking deliverables, and organizing creative assets.
  • Maintain brand asset libraries and ensure brand consistency across all channels.

Creative Production

  • Assist in photo and video shoot production, including pre-production and on-set support.
  • Help create visual content that reflects the distinct personalities of each brand.
  • Support layout, resizing, and light graphic design needs via Canva or Adobe Suite.
  • Collaborate on creative briefs and assist in preparing moodboards, concept decks, and social storytelling assets.

Social Media & Communications

  • Support social media planning and execution, including posting, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Assist in drafting and proofreading marketing copy for newsletters, social, and digital campaigns.
  • Help compile analytics and performance reports to inform content strategy.
  • Stay current on social trends, design news, and creative inspiration to keep our brands fresh and relevant.

Events, Activations & Special Projects

  • Assist in coordination and execution of brand activations, pop-ups, and shows.
  • Support event logistics, packing, shipping, setup, and on-site production.
  • Contribute creatively to event themes, guest experiences, and brand presentation.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or creative production.
  • Strong aesthetic sensibility and a love for interiors, design, and storytelling.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in any or all of the following: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Workplace, Meta Business Suite
  • Excellent writing, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Flexible, collaborative, and eager to learn in a small but dynamic team.
  • Experience with photography, styling, or video editing is a plus.
