shipping & returns


All orders ship out of our North Carolina factory. Due to the handmade nature of our products, production & shipping lead times vary per piece. For accurate lead times, please reference the “Shipping” tab on each individual product page. Please note, multi-item orders may carry a longer lead time. As soon as your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with delivery information included. We do not offer international shipping at this time.

Small accessories such as lamps, rugs, trays, bar carts, etc will ship via FedEx. A tracking number will be provided in your shipping confirmation email. Orders shipping via FedEx typically deliver in a few business days. Please note, a signature may be required upon delivery.

Furniture (sofas, lounge chairs, multi-item orders too large to ship via regular mail) will be delivered via White Glove Delivery service. Items shipping via White Glove Delivery will be brought into your home, placed into the room of your choice, unpacked and all packaging will be removed. Because of this specialized service, please allow approximately 2-4 weeks for delivery depending on your location. Prior to delivery, you will receive a phone call from the delivery team to coordinate your delivery date + time window. The delivery will not be carried out unless the date has been confirmed by you. Please note, if you miss your confirmed and scheduled delivery, you will be responsible for a redelivery fee which is set by the delivery company.


At Society Social, we make it our personal goal to only deliver the best in quality, design, and craftsmanship. Your custom Society Social is inspected at each stage of production and must pass a final inspection before we release it for shipping. Although rare, transit damage can occur. Please be sure to follow the below steps:

For FEDEX or USPS deliveries, please make sure to inspect your order upon receipt and notify us of any damages within 24 hours. Please take a photo of the damaged product as well as the box and email our team for review. Please hold on to all packaging. Our team will be in touch asap with next steps.

For WHITE GLOVE DELIVERIES, please fully inspect your order while the delivery team is present and make a note of any freight damages on their paperwork. If we are not notified within 24 hours and if damages are not noted on the paperwork a claim will not be honored.


The majority of our items are custom made or finished to order and are final sale. Please reference the “Shipping Info” page on the individual product page for accurate information. If an item is eligible for a return, please note you will be responsible for the return shipping charges, the outbound shipping charges and a restocking fee.


We politely request that all purchases be picked up in a timely manner. Items remaining in our possession after 60 days will be considered abandoned property, unless otherwise noted. For questions or concerns, please email
