SHIPPING & LEAD TIMES

All orders will ship via third party carriers. As carriers control their own routes and schedules, shipping lead times will vary. Please see below for current transit lead time estimates. To locate the shipping method of your product, please reference the “Shipping Info” tab on the individual product page. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with delivery information included. We do not offer international shipping at this time. All products crafted at our North Carolina factory will ship complete based on the product ordered with the longest lead time.

USPS:

Fabric swatches ship via USPS First Class and arrive within 7-10 business days of order receipt. This shipping method does not include tracking. Please note, shipping and delivery delays may occur due to current high volumes and labor shortages. 

FEDEX & UPS:
Smaller items will ship via FedEx or FedEx Oversize. A tracking number will be provided in your shipping confirmation email. Please note, a signature may be required upon delivery. Orders shipping via FedEx & UPS typically deliver in a few business days. Please note, shipping and delivery delays may occur due to current high volumes and labor shortages. 

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY:
Furniture crafted at our NC factory (sofas, lounge chairs, consoles, multi-item orders) will be delivered via White Glove Delivery service. Items shipping via White Glove Delivery will be brought into your home, placed into the room of your choice, unpacked and all packaging will be removed. As this is a specialized service, transit lead times are longer than a ground carrier (ex. FedEx). Prior to delivery, you will receive a phone call from the delivery team to coordinate your delivery date + time window. The delivery will not be carried out unless the date has been confirmed by you. Please note, if you miss your confirmed and scheduled delivery, you will be responsible for a redelivery fee which is set by the delivery company.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY LEAD TIMES: (Updated July 22,2021)

Continued increases in freight volume and nationwide driver shortages are further affecting transit lead times. Please find current estimates below:

If you are located in the below states, your order is estimated to reach the local terminal approximately 7-9 weeks after it has left our NC factory. Once it reaches the local terminal, you will be contacted to schedule a delivery date.

California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont, Idaho, Nevada, Montana, Wyoming, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota.

For all other states, your order is estimated to reach the local terminal approximately 5-7 weeks after it has left our NC factory. Once it reaches the local terminal, you will be contacted to schedule a delivery date.

We are actively keeping in communication with our carriers to ensure we provide you with the most accurate and up to date estimates. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding.

THRESHOLD DELIVERY:

Some of our Curated by Society Social pieces will ship with Threshold Delivery service. The delivery team will bring your order to your home and place it within the first threshold (doorway). Your order will remain packaged. Please note, pending on the size of the item/order, this service may require a scheduled delivery appointment as well as for someone to be home to accept the delivery.

EXPEDITED DELIVERY:

Due to the significant increases in freight volume and nationwide driver shortages, we are unable to expedite the shipping or delivery of orders.

DAMAGES

At Society Social, we make it our personal goal to only deliver the best in quality, design, and craftsmanship. Your custom Society Social is inspected at each stage of production and must pass a final inspection before we release it for shipping. Although rare, transit damage can occur. Please be sure to follow the below steps:

FOR FEDEX OR USPS deliveries, please make sure to inspect your order upon receipt and notify us of any damages within 24 hours. Please take a photo of the damaged product as well as the box and email our team for review. Please hold on to all packaging. Our team will be in touch asap with next steps.

FOR WHITE GLOVE DELIVERIES, please fully inspect your order while the delivery team is present and make a note of any freight damages on their paperwork. If we are not notified within 24 hours and if damages are not noted on the paperwork a claim will not be honored.

RETURNS

The majority of our items are custom made or finished to order and are final sale. Please reference the “Shipping Info” page on the individual product page for accurate information. If an item is eligible for a return, please note you will be responsible for the return shipping charges, the outbound shipping charges and a restocking fee.

IN-STORE & FACTORY PICK-UP

We politely request that all purchases be picked up in a timely manner. Items remaining in our possession after 60 days will be considered abandoned property, unless otherwise noted. For questions or concerns, please email contact@shopsocietysocial.com
