What is your average lead time?

Lead times vary depending on the product. Many of our products are custom made to order and will carry a longer lead time. For the most accurate lead time information, please reference the individual product page.

Can I preorder an out of stock item?

We do not take preorders for out of stock items. For items crafted at our Philippines factory, our team fully inspects inventory before releasing it for purchase to ensure each piece meets our top quality standards. With that in mind, we do not make our products available for sale until they are physically on hand and have passed our quality inspections.

What does signing up for a product's wailist entail?

Signing up for the waitlist of an out of stock products means our team will notify you when the item is available for purchase again. Once the product is available for purchase, lead times listed on the product page will apply. Signing up for the waitlist does not reserve or guarantee the product.

Where can I order fabric samples?

Fabric samples can be ordered here! We’re always happy to help you make decisions, which is why we’ve decided to offer up to 10 swatches for $7.95. If you decide to order custom upholstery, we'll take the difference off your purchase!

Can I send in my own fabric to fully customize an upholstery piece?

Yes! We accept COM (Customer's Own Material) on many of our upholstery styles. You can find more information about pricing and the COM process here.

What paint colors do you offer on custom color products?

We can color match any Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams paint color!

Do you offer paint samples?

We do not offer paint samples as we offer over 2000+ color options. We highly recommend visiting your local paint or hardware store to source a paint sample of the colors you are considering. It is always a good idea to see the colors in your own space before making a final decision!

Can the size of your pieces be customized?

Due to the additional costs and increased production time necessary for customization, we do not offer custom size project requests.

How will I know that you've received my order?

Once an order has been placed on our website, you will receive an order confirmation email with details of your order. If you do not receive an order confirmation within an hour of your purchase with us, please reach out to our customer care team at contact@shopsocietysocial.com so that we can ensure we have an accurate email address.

How will I know that my order has shipped?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with carrier details and tracking (if available for your shipping method) once your order has shipped.

Will I receive all the items in my order at the same time?

We ship your items as they are available. Items carrying a similar lead time may still ship separately if shipping from different locations. A shipping confirmation email will be sent for each shipment of your order.

Can I place an order over the phone or via email?

We require that all orders be placed directly through our website. If you're having any trouble purchasing items on our website, please reach out to our customer care team at contact@shopsocietysocial.com and we would be happy to assist you.

When is my credit card charged?

If your order is placed without the use of Shopify Pay or Affirm, the full amount of your order will be collected upon purchase. You can find more information here:

Will I be charged sales tax on my purchase?

We are required to collect sales tax on all orders shipping to North Carolina.

Can I pay for my purchase in installments?

We are very excited to partner with Shopify Pay and Affirm to offer our customers payment plan options. During your checkout process you will have the option to use Shopify Pay or Affirm depending on your cart total. Carts under $1000 will have the option of Shopify Pay or Affirm, carts over $1000 will have only Affirm as a payment plan option. You can find more information here:

Does Affirm require a down payment?

Affirm offers financing options for carts up to $20,000. If your cart exceeds this amount, the balance will be collected at checkout.

Do you offer factory pickup?

Yes! We can accommodate a factory pickup request for items shipping from Society Social. You can verify if an item is shipping directly from our factory on the respective product page. Please email our team at contact@shopsocietysocial.com to coordinate.

Do you offer International shipping options?

Due to increasing shipping costs and high risk of damage, we are not yet able to offer international shipping for our products. We are a growing small business and this is something we hope to offer in the future!

Do you offer a cheaper shipping option than White Glove on furniture items?

An item's shipping method will be indicated on the product page of the respective item. Items designated as white glove or threshold shipping methods can not be shipped by any other delivery method. Due to the weight, size, and materials used on these items, they require specialized handling to ensure that the product reaches you safely.

Do you offer free shipping?

Some products on our website do ship for free. Shipping rates for items that do not ship for free are calculated based on size, weight, shipping method, and your shipping location. We are constantly vetting carriers and shipping options to ensure we're able to offer you the most affordable shipping method all the while meeting our high quality standards.

Are there any restrictions to white glove delivery services?

The delivery team can not make any modifications to your home or space. Prior to purchase, please ensure the items you're interested in will fit into your space (through doorways, hallways, etc.). If there are any delivery challenges such as multiple (3+) flights of stairs, narrow or long driveway, remote access (such as islands or desolate areas) please contact us prior to the shipment of your order so that we can coordinate with the shipping and delivery teams. As a small business we do not currently have the manpower to provide 24/7 phone support and thus do not have a phone line. Our goal at Society Social is to offer designer looks at attainable prices. As we work hard to keep the everyday price of our products at their lowest, we don't run sales often.
