Now that it's summer, we've found ourselves enjoying the warm weather and a cocktail (or two!) at a few favorite NYC rooftops. Last month we visited Lemon's in Brooklyn and this month we hit up one of our go-to summer spots, The Broken Shaker, at the Freehand Hotel in Gramercy.
This jungle oasis rooftop bar features plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, beautiful NY views and a full bar serving up tropical drinks with a Middle Eastern and Latin American Twist.
Outside, the existing architecture featuring brick archways and mini walls divides the sprawling space, creating cozy tables perfect for date nights or catch-ups with friends!
The decor features a mixture of flea market finds, oversized greenery and lots and lots of rattan, (a material we absolutely love!) and have found to be making a huge comeback in the design world. These NYC rattan rooftop sightings prove this natural material isn't always synonymous with coastal casual and that it can be modern, boho or city chic!
