A Thanksgiving Treat for Your Table!
To prep for the holiday festivities, I turkey trotted down to the fabulous Flower District. In addition to my hearty, honey ham I was appointed the title of centerpiece connoisseur, in charge of all botanical and table decor relations.
While engulfed in this green oasis, I discovered a new favorite bloom, the anemone which is part of the ranunculus family. I loved the deep purple centers and thought it would pair nicely with plum berries and greens!
Instead of arranging a traditional one vase centerpiece, I thought I would make individual arrangements in these darling new bud vases that can be snatched up at 73 Spring Shop!
Not to mention, these bud vase arrangements are perfect if you're on a budget! Instead of creating an over the top centerpiece which may require lots of blooms, you can split one or two bouquets up into little bud vases to place at each place setting. It's also the perfect parting gift to send your guests home with!
If you're serving up family style and don't have a lot of room on the table for a grand centerpiece as well as all the fixings for thanksgiving, opt for a "floral cake creation!" Your table will still have a thoughtful flourish but the focus will be on the feast!
