5 Spaces I Love Series: Melissa

If you've been following along with Designing #SocietySocialHome, you know Roxy is in the process of building her dream house! Since pulling inspo photos is a great place to start when tackling a new design project, we're starting a new series where we'll ask our team member and favorite tastemakers from influencers to friends to share their 5 favorite spaces. It's going to be such a fun way to get to know each other!

Melissa is here to share 5 spaces she loves!

1. Athena Calderone's Brooklyn Brownstone:

Athena Calderone (aka Eyeswoon's) stunning Brooklyn brownstone is one of my all-time favorites. The space is so light and airy and perfectly mixes vintage finds with modern details. I especially love the curvy forms, the overarching rattan floor lamp and this quirky side table! The overall design is modern and fresh and still feels welcoming. Athena's design aesthetic has been such an inspiration for my Brooklyn apartment!

2. Ariel Okin's Tribeca Project

Serious entryway goals. I love the lacquered walls and the soft palette paired with pops of emerald green. As much as I love a symmetrical vignette featuring a sofa and two accent chairs, I can't resist a comfy sectional that fits a big group.

3. Living Room by Jenkins Interiors:

Color is classy! This living room vignette by Jenkins Interiors is a new favorite of mine. I love the blush ceilings, trim work detailing, the pastel palette and those unique accent chairs! The space is effortlessly chic and still feels cozy and warm.

4. Condo by Brian Paquette Interiors:

My favorite thing about this condo by Brian Paquette Interiors is that he successfully created cozy spaces inside of this open floorplan. It's a great space for entertaining and still feels intimate. I also love the mix of materials, the brass accents, and the subtle curved silhouettes.

5. Manhattan Apartment by Victoria Hagan:

The first thing that caught my eye in this living room vignette by Victoria Hagan was this fun chandelier. It's a perfect mix of traditional and modern! I love the other lighting moments in this room as well -- the brass sconces on the wall and the chic black table lamp on the minimalistic desk in the corner. Although the room is full of furniture, it does not feel overcrowded or over staged.
