With one foot in the city and the other in the Texas countryside, my work is inspired by the shifting light, color, and movement of the natural landscape. Rather than depicting a specific place, my paintings explore how color and texture can evoke the feeling of open space, fresh air, and calm.

Through layered brushwork and vibrant palettes, I create paintings that feel both lively and peaceful. My focus is on the interplay of color, texture, and light—allowing the surface of the painting to carry energy while still creating a sense of quiet balance.
