Happy New Year! I'm kicking off the year with a healthy elixir because woman can't live on champagne alone. Okay, we probably could...who are we kidding? But this carrot-mango smoothie is too bright and beautiful to be ignored and an extra dose of vitamins is always good idea for looking and feeling our best in 2014. 3/4 cup frozen mango
1/2 Honeycrisp apple, peeled and seeded
1/2 cup shredded carrots
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
1 tbsp. honey

Combine ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth. Serve in a tall glass and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
