The Real Society Socials No.6 {The Goods}

The night before our scheduled shoot, I received an excited text message from Meredith and Rob. p.s. “We’re engaged!” The next morning, hardly 10, their tulip-clad and topiary flanked front door swung open and I knew were in for a party.
With cocktails in hand, dressed in vibrant attire, the jubilant couple greeted us with unhesitating hugs and a surprise welcome brunch, the bottles were popped and the playlist turned up. These hosts don’t mess around.
A quick tour around Meredith and Rob’s Philly home—they just moved in September—revealed these two are just as colorful as their vibrant creation. While happy go lucky and over the top, the layers of expertly mixed pattern and a daring use of color tout seriously good style ;)
Without further adieu, meet the future Mr. and Mrs. Good and to read even more, check out our full feature on the Glitter Guide (!) and drop in to Meredith’s budding design business DiffMiller which is a natural extension of her impeccable style.
Meredith chose to make a bold statement right from the get go. Upon entry, guests are greeted with wide stripes in Sherwin Williams Commodore Blue. A look to the right is refreshing on the eyes revealing a turquoise hallway and grasscloth covered powder room.
The foyer leads straight into their bright and airy kitchen which is also off of the formal dining room. To make the most of the space, the couple installed a custom corner banquette.
The banquette seat cushion was custom made and complementing pillows were picked from Society Social (Turkish Toile) and One Kings Lane.
Meredith loves to mix it up so designing the Emily sofa in neutral luxe linen with white contrast piping was the perfect blank canvas for her bold combination of pillows: golden cheetah, beverly palm, and chinoiserie chic.
Every girl needs at least two pairs of sparkly shoes!
The wing chairs were a splurge and are upholstered in Brunschwig and Fils "Les Touches." (Design your own sassy wingback chair here!)
From fashion to furnishings, Meredith is an expert at pattern play!
Paint names: uncertain grey, julep green, animated coral, bold commodore blue stripes, the two explained, were picked based on their names since they couldn’t decide. Meredith added, “You are what you paint!”
The Hayworth bar cart creates a welcome little nook in the sunroom. The sofa is a hand me down but the floral fabric is a classic that has withstood the test of time. Fun updates, a fur and tailored trim pillow, give the sofa a fresh look.
Staples in the home include bourbon and prosecco!

Thank you Meredith and Rob for being the ultimate hosts and congrats again on your engagement!! It’s an honor to be a part of your home and to have met your bubbly acquaintances! Cheers, Roxy
