INSLEE FARISS: 2022 illustrated calendars & art prints!
Inslee Fariss is a Raleigh, North Carolina based artist. Inslee's whimsical and playful creativity is an identifying thread woven through all her artistry. Her brush brings lightness to everything she puts down on paper (or canvas) For the past decade she has worked with wonderful clients - both private individual commissions and for large companies. Each day offers up unexpected new opportunities for creativity.
DOGWOOD HILL: Holiday wrapping paper, gift tags, stationery & more!
Our story began in 2014 when our founder, Jennifer Hunt—a busy mother of two who moonlights as an accountant and an art dealer—waited a touch too long to order her holiday cards. Like many busy women before her, Jennifer found that booking an artist to create the hand-crafted cards she wanted was not a possibility. She took to the web, but her efforts were futile. No one was delivering online customizable calligraphy and art-driven holiday stationery. That is when the idea sprung for a website where discerning customers could go for hand-made cards that were thoughtfully and gorgeously created featuring art by real artists. No need for pricey design fees, lengthy production times or settling for the mass-produced.
With its collective of thirty artists (and growing!) and its team of in-house graphic designers who bring the art to life through thoughtful product design, Dogwood Hill is able to supply products within ten days that are as unique as the intended recipients. With each artist's distinctive style, you’ll find an item to suit your taste. Artwork is created by hand, the paper is luxurious and, to ensure your photo-based cards feel truly your own, we’ve made it easy to upload photos and personalize messages. No detail is overlooked. We believe stationery should reflect the sender’s personality and delight the recipient and that is what we strive to deliver through the Dogwood Hill: Design-driven cards that inspire.
LAKE PAJAMAS: Cozy pajamas and robes for women and kids!
LAKE believes that the most comfortable part of your day should be celebrated, from sleepy Saturday mornings to wind down time with loved ones, through all of life's coziest moments. The collection, inspired by summers on the East Coast, started with a simple silhouette, a classic stripe, and the softest fabric imaginable; 100% Peruvian Pima Cotton. Now, LAKE offers pajama perfection for women, men, and children with collections that extend to casual wear beyond the home too. Join LAKE in finding comfort in the everyday, and sharing that comfort with those you love. Founded in Savannah, Georgia in 2016, you can find LAKE at their stores in Charleston and Atlanta, and online at LAKEPajamas.com
LOREN HOPE: Luxury costume jewelry handcrafted in small batches!
Within the Newport flagship store, collections are created that comprise everything from delicate pieces that can be worn every day to items made for a bride during the biggest celebration of her life. The collections are designed with the modern woman in mind—feminine with a radiating personality, and not afraid of a new perspective. Serving as a bridge between nostalgia and modern design, the pieces in the Loren Hope collection also celebrate the artistry behind vintage jewelry while incorporating dynamic designs that speak to today’s consumer. The combination of sentimentality and forward-looking art celebrates women who have collected jewelry for generations while aiming for new audiences who prize originality and flair in their collections.
While every piece from the Loren Hope collection is profoundly different, each item shares ornate and whimsical elements that showcase the meticulous design and attention to craft behind each piece. The items in the collection complement each other in featured articles, on the website, and on the ears, wrists, and necks of the women who wear the pieces. Many of those who purchase Loren Hope items become brand ambassadors, serving as the biggest supporters and eagerly awaiting their first glimpse of next season’s designs. To many, the collections, season after season, represent the finest in the art-meets-jewelry world and the finest in affordable luxury. Loren Hope jewelry has been featured in Vogue, ELLE, InStyle, Real Simple, The Zoe Report, Glitter Guide, SELF, Southern Living, Redbook, Refinery 29, and other national publications.

SARAH BRAY BERMUDA: Sun hats & scarves, including our Society Social exclusive style!
Sarah Bray Bermuda is dedicated to eliminating wasteful goods and promoting an inspirational shopping experience, with products made from antique, vintage, recycled and biodegradable materials. Any products requiring additional crafting, are executed by local artisans within her home state of Texas and new home in Bermuda. While Sarah does not think calling a non-essential brand "sustainable" is possible, she is committed to trying to be as sustainable as possible. This is why her original fashion concept centers around biodegradable sun hats, woven from sea grass and palm leaf, topped with vintage floral ribbons and made-in-USA grosgrain. Pictured below is our exclusive Society Social X Sarah Bray sun hat!
MIGNONNE GAVIGAN: Handcrafted earrings and necklaces
At Mignonne Gavigan, accessories are the perfect finishing touch. Our philosophy is that sophistication and playfulness can coexist. We aim to thoughtfully design once-of-a-kind pieces that tell a story of handmade craftsmanship and faraway travels. Our approach stems from Mignonne's love of art, nature, architecture, and textiles bringing them all together in jewelry.
We believe what you wear should bring you joy, maybe even encourage you to take a few risks. With partners in India and Asia, we create modern designs informed by 100-year-old heritage techniques. Signature styles include the scarf necklace, decadent statement earrings, dreamy intricately detailed brooches, and bracelets.
HADLEY KELLER: In-person signing of her new book, Beachside!
Hadley is a writer and editor living in New York. She currently serves as Digital Director at House Beautiful, where she oversees digital content and strategy for the brand in addition to working on the print magazine. Before that, she served as the founding editor at Architectural Digest’s AD PRO as well as market editor and design reporter for that magazine. She is a proud maximalist and antiques lover who can never resist a good tag sale.
About Beachside: The planned community of Windsor, on a barrier island in Vero Beach, Florida, offers elegant-yet-casual seaside living at its best. This sublimely landscaped village, planned by the renowned New Urbanists Andrés Duany and Elizabeth Plater‑Zyberk, boasts houses by A‑list architects and top interior designers, among them John Stefanidis, Steven Gambrel, and Alessandra Branca. The exteriors, Anglo‑Caribbean in style, feature steeply pitched roofs, open eaves, cantilevered balconies, and palm‑shaded courtyards and pools. The interiors, all executed with exquisite craftsmanship and appointed with fine finishes, range in style from traditional to sleekly contemporary. Beachside presents a wide array of the houses, organized by room. Filled with photographs of bougainvillea‑framed entrances, airy open‑plan living-dining rooms, cozy studies, and bedrooms that open onto balconies with sweeping ocean views, Beachside will inspire anyone yearning for a stylish coastal life.
AMANDA PETRO: Hand painted ornaments and original artwork!
Amanda is so grateful to have been raised in the beautiful coastal town of Fairhope, Alabama. She was born with the desire to create but living in a town of artists and patrons of the arts, definitely further encouraged and ignited her passion. She graduated from The University of Alabama in 2011 with a degree in Studio Art and a concentration in oil painting. Following her graduation, she studied for a year in the graduate painting program at The Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta. Amanda works in an abstract expressionist style. She lets paint be paint. Her work is composed of a balance of intuitive experimentation and intentional precision. She believes each color has a distinct personality and she enjoys encouraging them to interact. She lets what exists on a canvas dictate what is to come. Being open to any end result allows her work to evolve. Amanda resides in Birmingham with her husband and two children.

INCORPORATE TEXTURAL ELEMENTS
Natural chargers (like wicker, seagrass, and rattan) is our favorite way to infuse a bit of warmth when grounding a tablescape setting.
EMBRACE AUTUMNAL HUES
Think deep garnets, soft blush pinks, and sage greens as found on our Chinese Fruit Tablecloth.
ADD AMBIANCE WITH CANDLES
Layer your lighting -- dim your overhead fixtures, turn on your table lamps, and mix tapers and decorative candles to ignite the senses.
BRING THE OUTDOORS IN
Silver dollar and burnt orange eucalyptus make for effortless & organic table runners. Pair with English garden roses for volume and a sweet aroma.

"When dreaming up the exclusive Society Social x Sarah Bray Bermuda sun hat and scarf, I was inspired by Society Social's newest collection, specifically the Evie Sofa, featured in a gorgeous soft blue block print. A pillar of classic design, I love that block prints are cycling back into the mainstream. From table linens, to home decor, fabrics to fashion, they're an effortlessly elegant print with a playful spirit!" - Sarah

]]>A big congrats to our talented friend Riley Sheehey on her beautiful new collection of wallpaper and textiles! Riley is a watercolor and multimedia artist based in Falls Church, Virginia. Before becoming an artist full-time, she taught elementary school art and developed a love for whimsical styles and playful details. Her artwork reflects this childlike view of the world with fun color palettes and an attention to detail that evokes a viewer's curiosity. We first fell in love with Riley's hand-painted seashells and have enjoyed following & supporting her small business on the 'gram ever since! We were thrilled to have the opportunity to style and spotlight her latest launch, a collection of eight wallpaper and fabric patterns, that draw inspiration from botanicals and natural elements. Scroll below to see how we styled Riley's Cornflower Wallpaper and be sure to head to her site to shop her new releases!
We love how Riley's Cornflower Wallpaper features a scallop like repeat that perfectly echos our Amelia Scalloped Wicker Table from our Spring '21 Collection. It was a natural pairing to style these two together as both designs exude femininity and a soft ode to the classics.
And if you look closely, Riley's Cornflower Wallpaper also perfectly matches the subtle design on our Society Social Charlotte white glazed planters. Can you tell we're currently coveting scallops?

]]>Even though our gatherings may look a little bit different this year, celebrations are still in order. We're all about easy and effortless entertaining at home and making memories with loved ones. In that spirit, we've dressed up our holiday table with a number of our entertaining and hostess favorites available on our site and at our flagship store! Scroll for a few of our tablescape styling tips!
Setting a holiday tablescape is easier than you think! Start with your favorite tablecloth and ground the space with placemats and plates. We love to layer on dinner & appetizer plates as well as water and wine glasses so there's no need to get up in-between courses!

Next, add napkins & napkin rings and incorporate a few tapers for a bit of height and a cozy warm glow. Finish off the look with flowers and greenery, faux or fresh! For our holiday tablescape, we incorporated vibrant english roses, hydrangeas and petite preserved boxwoods.
Forest Green Linen Napkins | Square Bamboo Napkin Rings | Set of 6 Tapers in Mistletoe Pattern | Candlesticks
Last but not least, don't forget to include your favorite decorative accessories! After all, your home (& tablescape) should be a reflection of you and your personal style! We're currently loving these spotted green hens for the holidays.
We're firm believers that you can't have a holiday celebration without sparkling wine! This festive cocktail features lots of bubbly, a splash (or two!) of gin, homemade blackberry simple syrup, and fresh thyme and blackberries for a festive garnish.
1 c. blackberries + 8 more for garnish
1 c. water
1 c. sugar
1 bottle of sparkling wine (We've loving Chandon's festive holiday bottle!)
4 ounces or 1/2 c. gin
4 long sprigs of thyme
1 c. ice
champagne flutes
For the friend who keeps her jade roller in her freezer and has embraced the house shoe trend like no other. You know, the one who's always burning a scented candle and has an enormously long list of shows to binge on Netflix. Encourage her inner peace and comfort with our roundup of gifts sure to create a relaxed retreat at home.
]]>Fall is our favorite. The season brings cozy textures, festive flavors and the delightful opportunity to gather 'round (and have a mulled cider or two!)
We've refreshed our Carmen Burlwood Credenza for fall with a few of our Society Social Charlotte favorites. From our NEW block print pillows (available in red, green, blue & aqua), to colorful tapered candles and mirrors, to fancy French hens, stylish and functional trays and more! It's all about adding layers of colors and textures that compliment your home and exude a slight shift of the seasons.
Our Carmen Credenza is ready for a festive feast, a lively cocktail hour (she's your personal bartender!), or a cozy night in under candlelight of course! We love how the earthy warmth of the burlwood pairs perfectly with this autumnal palette.
One of our favorite decorating tips, no matter the season, is to bring the outdoors in. Greenery instantly adds an organic & relaxed element to a home. Here we brought in red and orange eucalyptus as it infused beautiful colors into the vignette and offered a bit of height for visual interest.
PS. This whole team knows their way around a vignette! Madison & Leah took this one over during our Fall photoshoot!

Chic storage! Our Carmen Burlwood Credenza offers up plenty of tabletop space for styling and serving and features large cabinets for hidden storage.
Our decorative picture frames make for the perfect sentimental gift when paired with your favorite photo!
One of our favorite tips when setting a holiday tablescape is to start with a tablecloth and ground the space with placemats. This helps compartmentalize each seating area, creating a roadmap for you to follow when it comes to styling.
We then love to layer on dinner & appetizer plates as well as water & wine glasses so there's no need to get up in-between courses!
